I’m all about Christmas cookies, but there's only so many that I can bake and eat without feeling like I’m becoming Santa Claus. They all start to blend together on the platter and sometimes I want something different. I still want sugar, because duh, it’s December, but just not a cookie.
That’s where these no bake treats come in. I love them because you can add them to the holiday cookie platter to add variation, or wrap them up pretty for a DIY gift. All these recipes have minimal ingredients, making them easier to shop for and to make and better on the budget.
Think I’m a monster for talking badly about cookies in December? I’ve got you covered with my favorite cookie recipes at the end of this email. I really do love a good cookie.
Coconut Balls
We’re getting started with these Chocolate Dipped Coconut Balls. If you love really sweet and coconut flavors, these are for you. They’re dipped in dark chocolate and topped with sea salt to balance out the sweetness from the coconut and sweetened condensed milk.
Then, they chill in the fridge and become this cold little truffle. These are great to make the day ahead of a party too. I think they taste even better when chilled overnight.
