Anyone else feel like the holidays bring in an extra level of chaos? I know how to cook, but sometimes the timing of things get me. My husband says I have an unrealistic time line/ bad time management skills. I never account for traffic, potentially having to stop for gas, or pausing for squirrels in the road.
I guess that carries over for me on Holidays too sometimes, so today I’m sharing some recipes that always help me and will hopefully help you too. Ready for the secret? These recipes are made the day before the chaos begins. Then, if you’re terrible at time management, it doesn’t matter. YAY!

This Cranberry Sauce with Orange Juice is incredible and can be made the day before serving. It’s tart and flavorful with notes of citrus and cinnamon. It's so easy to make with just a few ingredients. Skip the canned sauce and serve this homemade cranberry sauce on the Thanksgiving Table this year.
Next up, I’ve been working on perfecting this recipe all week and I’m so excited to share it with you. This Ancient Grain Farro Salad is filled with fresh flavors and so many delicious textures. Then, it’s topped with a light curry dressing to give it even more flavor!
I love this recipe to offer a healthy side dish option to guests with all those heavy comfort foods on Thanksgiving. Plus, it puts some nice color on the dinner plate. Farro is not gluten free, it’s made from wheat. If you want a gluten free options, substitute the farro with wild rice or quinoa.
Note: This recipe is delicious all year long and great to prep on Sundays for weekday lunches.

Prep Ahead Dessert
This turtle pie is one of my favorite desserts for the Holidays. It’s a no bake cream cheesy kind of recipe and these do best when in the fridge overnight. It also has an oreo crust, so get ready to fall in love!
That’s it for this week. Lots more Thanksgiving recipes coming to your inbox next week. Have a fantastic weekend and Happy Cooking.
