TikTok is a weird place to be sometimes. I once watched someone go viral over boiling plain chicken in water for dinner and another for making Mac and Cheese in their sink. Ewww. Goodness no.
However, there are some great recipes that have gone TikTok viral and I’ve made for the blog, with my own spin on them of course. Today, I’m going to share my favorites.
TikTok Pastas
First up, and potentially my favorite because it’s pasta, is this French Onion Soup Pasta. It sounds kind of strange, but it has caramelized onions with a creamy white wine sauce, and it’s super yummy.
The recipe uses gruyere cheese and really tastes like French onion soup! Plus, it’s a one pot recipe and great for weeknights. It doesn’t have any meat, so you may want to serve it with a quick salad or protein, like this Chicken Romano or Mini Meatballs.
The Video
Another really delicious TikTok pasta recipe is this Boursin Cheese Pasta. If you’ve had Boursin cheese, you know that creamy melt in your mouth texture. It brings a really fantastic element to this pasta too.
The Grinder Salad/Sub
This recipe is always super popular on the blog and it was inspired by the TikTok Viral Grinder Salad. It has crunchy greens and deli meats and cheeses, and is tossed in a Grinder dressing with red wine vinegar and olive oil. It’s great for Spring and Summer. You can eat this as a salad or load it onto a hoagie for a sub.
A 10 Minute TikTok Breakfast
These Feta Fried Eggs are delish too, and I’m honestly not even a huge fan of eggs. The feta brings a salty taste, which is amazing and they are topped with fresh tomatoes, peppers and green onion. They only take 10 minutes to make, but read the directions in the post, because the feta will burn quick.
On my personal TikTok page, these Bacon Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls and my Brioche French Toast Casserole always get a ton of attention, especially during the holidays. Both have over 1 million views!
They are really good recipes, but I think they blew up because everyone wants to talk about their own version of the recipe and how they make it better, haha. Once again, TikTok is weird, and I like to keep my distance 😂
Let me know if you have made any of these or plan to make them. Have an awesome weekend and Happy Cooking.
